The Girls Brigade aims to help girls seek, serve and follow Christ.
It also seeks to encourage them to find true enrichment in life through values and a sense of responsibility.
A varied programme is offered each week and different events and trips are also organised throughout the year including the annual Remembrance Day parade, sports competitions and the annual display.
The Girls Brigade meets on a Wednesday evening in 1st Magherafelt Presbyterian Church which is located across from the towns police station.
The sections meet at the following times:
- Explorers (Age 3-7) – 6pm to 7:15pm
- Juniors (Age 8-10) – 7pm to 8:45pm
- Seniors/Brigaders (Age 11+) – 7:45pm to 9:30pm
